The MSI GeForce RTX 5050 8G GAMING OC 8GB is a gaming graphics card based on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture. It features 2560 CUDA cores, 8 GB of GDDR6 memory and a factory-overclocked Boost clock of 2632 MHz. MSI Center can enable Extreme Performance mode with a clock speed of up to 2647 MHz.
The graphics card features 8 GB of GDDR6 memory operating at 20 Gbps across a 128-bit memory interface. It connects through a PCI Express 5.0 x16 interface operating electrically at x8. NVIDIA Blackwell architecture provides fourth-generation RT Cores, fifth-generation Tensor Cores and support for NVIDIA DLSS 4.5, Ray Tracing, NVIDIA Reflex and G-SYNC technologies.
The TWIN FROZR 10 cooling system uses two seven-blade STORMFORCE fans designed to provide strong airflow while keeping noise levels low. Heat pipes efficiently transfer thermal energy away from the GPU, while Zero Frozr stops the fans under light loads. A reinforcing backplate with an airflow vent allows exhaust air to pass through more freely.
The card provides three DisplayPort 2.1b outputs and one HDMI 2.1b, supports up to four displays simultaneously and a maximum digital resolution of 7680×4320 px. Power consumption is rated at 130 W, with power supplied through a single 8-pin PCIe connector, while MSI recommends a 550 W power supply. Compact dimensions of 202 × 120 × 41 mm make installation easier in smaller gaming systems.
