The AMD Ryzen 9 3950X – TRAY is a high-performance third-generation AMD Ryzen desktop processor based on the Zen 2 architecture and designed for the AMD AM4 platform. Combining 16 processing cores, 32 threads and high operating frequencies, it offers excellent capabilities for demanding multitasking, professional content creation, 3D rendering, video production and PC gaming.
The AMD Zen 2 architecture uses a chiplet-based design featuring compute chiplets manufactured using TSMC's 7nm process and a separate 12nm I/O die. This approach enables an effective combination of high core counts, processing performance and energy efficiency. The processor belongs to the Ryzen 3000 series and carries the Matisse codename.
Sixteen powerful cores and 32 processing threads enable efficient handling of multiple demanding workloads simultaneously.
