AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D is a powerful Zen 5 desktop processor designed for demanding gaming systems, content creation and other compute-intensive workloads. It offers 12 physical cores, 24 threads and 2nd-generation AMD 3D V-Cache technology, which significantly expands cache capacity.
The processor runs at a base frequency of 4.4GHz and reaches a maximum frequency of up to 5.5GHz using Precision Boost 2 technology. It features 12MB L2 and 128MB L3 cache, with a total L2 + L3 cache capacity of 140MB. The large cache is especially beneficial in gaming scenarios sensitive to data-access speed.
The AM5 platform supports DDR5 memory and PCIe 5.0. The processor offers 28 native PCIe lanes in total, 24 of which are usable, and supports AMD EXPO for easy configuration of high-performance memory profiles. The unlocked multiplier, Precision Boost Overdrive, Curve Optimizer and AMD Ryzen Master support enable further performance tuning.
