ASUS ROG Crosshair VI Extreme is a premium E-ATX motherboard based on the AMD X370 chipset and AM4 socket. It was designed for high-performance gaming systems and performance-tuning enthusiasts, offering extensive connectivity, overclocking options and advanced cooling control.
The motherboard features four DDR4 DIMM slots supporting up to 64GB of RAM in Dual Channel configuration. For fast storage, two M.2 slots with PCIe 3.0 x4 support and a total of eight SATA 6Gb/s connectors are available. Expansion features include reinforced PCIe SafeSlot positions and support for multi-GPU configurations.
Network connectivity is provided by Intel I211-AT Gigabit LAN together with integrated dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2. The audio section uses ROG SupremeFX S1220 with an ESS ES9023P DAC. Features are complemented by USB 3.1 Gen 2 including Type-C, extensive fan and water-cooling control options, diagnostic and OC elements and ASUS Aura Sync lighting.
