The GIGABYTE AORUS GeForce RTX 5080 INFINITY 16GB is a high-performance graphics card based on the NVIDIA Blackwell architecture, designed for high-resolution gaming, ray tracing, AI workloads and demanding creative applications. It combines the GeForce RTX 5080 GPU with fast GDDR7 memory, a factory-enhanced core clock, premium cooling and the distinctive design of the AORUS series.
The graphics processor features 10752 CUDA cores and operates at up to 2805 MHz, above the 2617 MHz reference clock. The card is equipped with 16 GB of GDDR7 memory running at 30 Gbps across a 256-bit memory interface. PCI Express 5.0 provides connectivity for modern high-performance platforms.
Cooling is handled by the WINDFORCE HYPERBURST system with patented Hawk fans and a dedicated Overdrive fan that activates under demanding workloads to provide additional cooling performance. A large vapor chamber works together with composite copper heat pipes, while composite metal thermal grease improves heat transfer from the GPU. Server-grade thermal conductive gel is used for critical components including the VRAM and power delivery circuitry.
The fans support 3D Active Fan semi-passive operation, allowing them to remain stopped under low GPU load. The construction is complemented by a reinforced metal backplate and RGB Halo lighting around the fans, with lighting effects customisable through GIGABYTE CONTROL CENTER.
Display connectivity includes 3× DisplayPort 2.1b and 1× HDMI 2.1b. The card supports up to four displays simultaneously and a maximum digital resolution of 7680 × 4320 pixels. Power is supplied through a single 16-pin connector, with an 850 W power supply recommended. The package also includes a 12V-2x6 to 3× PCIe 8-pin adapter, VGA holder kit and magnetic backplate cover.
