Sapphire NITRO+ Radeon RX 9070 XT OC 16GB is a premium gaming graphics card based on the AMD RDNA 4 architecture. It offers 64 Compute Units, 4096 stream processors, 64 third-generation Ray Accelerators and 128 second-generation AI Accelerators. It is designed primarily for high-resolution gaming including 4K.
The graphics core reaches a Game Clock of up to 2520MHz and a Boost Clock of up to 3060MHz. It is equipped with 16GB of fast GDDR6 memory with an effective speed of 20Gb/s, a 256-bit memory bus and 64MB Infinity Cache.
Sapphire Tri-X cooling uses three fans with AeroCurve blades and dual ball bearings, optimized composite heatpipes and an integrated cooling module. Premium Honeywell PTM7950 thermal material is used for efficient heat transfer between the GPU and cooler. A metal frame and backplate complete the construction.
Power delivery uses a premium 16-phase digital design and one modern 12V-2x6 (H++) connector. A 3× 8-pin PCIe to 12V-2x6 adapter is also included for power supplies without a native connector. Typical graphics card power consumption is 330W and the manufacturer recommends a power supply rated at least 850W.
Two DisplayPort 2.1a and two HDMI outputs are available for connecting monitors. The card supports up to four displays simultaneously and a maximum resolution of up to 7680×4320 px. The PCIe 5.0 x16 interface provides the connection to the motherboard.
The integrated ARGB Light Bar allows customization of the graphics card's appearance and supports lighting synchronization with the motherboard via an external 3-pin 5V ARGB cable. Sapphire TriXX provides additional options for settings, fan control and graphics card optimization.
