The AMD Ryzen 5 5500F is a six-core Ryzen 5000 series processor designed for gaming and productivity PCs based on the AM4 platform. Built on the AMD Zen 3 architecture, it features 12 processing threads, a 3.0 GHz base clock and a maximum boost frequency of up to 4.4 GHz. With its 7 nm CPU manufacturing process and 65 W TDP, it delivers efficient performance for modern games, multitasking and everyday computing.
A total of 19 MB of cache includes 3 MB of L2 and 16 MB of L3 cache, helping accelerate access to frequently used data. The processor supports dual-channel DDR4 memory at speeds up to 3200 MT/s, PCI Express 4.0 connectivity and AMD Precision Boost 2 technology, which automatically adjusts clock speeds according to workload demands.
The processor does not feature integrated graphics, so a dedicated graphics card is required for display output. Its unlocked multiplier allows overclocking on compatible motherboards. The TRAY version is supplied without a CPU cooler.
