The Samsung 9100 PRO 1TB is a high-performance M.2 2280 NVMe SSD designed for modern gaming PCs, workstations and other demanding systems. It uses a PCIe 5.0 x4 interface and NVMe 2.0 protocol, delivering sequential read speeds of up to 14,700 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 13,300 MB/s.
The drive combines Samsung V-NAND TLC memory with a Samsung in-house controller and 1 GB of low-power LPDDR4X SDRAM cache. Random performance reaches up to 1,850,000 IOPS for reads and 2,600,000 IOPS for writes, providing fast response for demanding applications, large files and modern games.
The Samsung 9100 PRO supports TRIM, S.M.A.R.T. and automatic Garbage Collection. It also provides hardware-based 256-bit AES encryption with TCG/Opal and IEEE 1667 support. Samsung Magician software can be used for drive management, firmware updates and optimization.
The 1 TB model delivers high performance in the compact dimensions of the standard M.2 2280 form factor. A PCIe 5.0 x4 connection is required to achieve maximum transfer speeds.
