The MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ti VENTUS 3X 8GB is a high-performance graphics card based on the NVIDIA Ampere architecture. It features 6144 CUDA cores, 2nd-generation RT Cores and 3rd-generation Tensor Cores, providing hardware-accelerated ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS and other technologies of the GeForce RTX 30 Series.
The graphics processor operates at a boost clock of up to 1770 MHz. The card is equipped with 8 GB of GDDR6X memory running at an effective 19 Gbps across a 256-bit memory interface. System connectivity is provided through PCI Express 4.0.
Cooling is handled by the Triple Fan Thermal Design with three TORX Fan 3.0 fans. Zero Frozr stops the fans under low loads for quieter operation, while Core Pipes and thermal pads help efficiently transfer heat away from the GPU and other components. A metal backplate strengthens the card and uses thermal pads to provide additional heat dissipation.
Display connectivity includes 3× DisplayPort 1.4a and 1× HDMI 2.1, with HDMI supporting up to 4K at 120 Hz. Up to four displays can be connected simultaneously, with a maximum digital resolution of 7680 × 4320 pixels. NVIDIA G-SYNC and VR are also supported.
The card has a power consumption of 290 W and requires 2× 8-pin PCIe power connectors. MSI recommends a 750 W power supply. The graphics card measures 305 × 120 × 57 mm and weighs approximately 1160 g.
