The Kingston KC3000 1TB is a high-performance NVMe SSD designed for desktop and notebook PCs with PCI Express 4.0 connectivity. It uses the M.2 2280 form factor, a four-lane PCIe 4.0 interface and a Phison E18 controller to deliver high performance for demanding applications, gaming and large-file workloads.
The drive uses 3D TLC NAND and features a dedicated DRAM cache. The 1024 GB model delivers sequential read speeds of up to 7000 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 6000 MB/s. Random 4K performance reaches up to 900,000 IOPS read and 1,000,000 IOPS write.
The KC3000 features a low-profile graphene-aluminum heat spreader that helps dissipate heat during intensive workloads. The 1TB model is rated for 800 TBW endurance and an MTBF of 2,000,000 hours.
