Intel Xeon w5-2455X is a modern processor designed for professional workstations built on the platform Intel W790. It offers 12 high-performance cores and 24 threads based on the Sapphire Rapids architecture, making it ideal for demanding compute workloads, rendering, CAD, scientific simulations and virtualization.
The base frequency of 2.6 GHz can be increased up to 4.4 GHz using Intel Turbo Boost. The processor supports up to 2 TB DDR5 ECC RDIMM and features 33 MB L3 cache. Thanks to support for AVX-512, vPro, Intel DL Boost and virtualization technologies, it is a perfect choice for professional use.
It is compatible with the LGA 4677 and requires a motherboard with the W790. The Xeon w5-2455X is intended exclusively for workstations, not for standard desktop PCs.
