Because the HUB has 10 USB 3.0 ports, up to 10 devices can be charged at the same time. The USB 3.0 interface is particularly important for data transfers from USB 3.0 memory cards and flash drives, where its high transfer speed is used most effectively. An external power adapter is included and is required for HUB operation. The power adapter guarantees stable charging from the USB ports and HUB performance, providing charging power of up to 10 W per port.
Individual HUB ports can be switched on or off using the corresponding switch, reducing HUB power consumption while increasing the charging current available to the ports that remain active.
The HUB does not require driver installation. Simply connect it to your computer using the USB cable and start using it immediately. The HUB has built-in overvoltage protection for your computer in case of a short circuit on peripheral devices. Backward compatibility with USB 2.0 / 1.1 is also included.
Thanks to its compact dimensions and low weight, it is an ideal accessory for your notebook while traveling.
The HUB installs automatically from the system and requires no drivers. Connect the power adapter connector to the HUB and plug the adapter into a 230V outlet. Then connect the HUB using the USB cable to an available USB port (USB 3.0, 2.0 or 1.1 standard) on your notebook / PC and follow the on-screen instructions. The HUB will be installed and displayed in Device Manager as “Generic USB Hub” and “Generic SuperSpeed USB Hub”.
