The GIGABYTE B365 M AORUS ELITE is a Micro ATX motherboard based on the Intel B365 Express chipset and LGA 1151 socket. It supports 8th and 9th Gen Intel Core i9, i7, i5 and i3 processors as well as compatible Intel Pentium and Celeron CPUs. Its hybrid digital power design and Ultra Durable construction are designed for stable operation in both gaming and productivity systems.
Four DIMM slots support up to 64 GB of DDR4 memory in Dual Channel mode. Supported memory speeds include DDR4-2666, 2400 and 2133 MHz, along with Intel XMP memory profiles. The primary graphics slot provides PCIe 3.0 x16 connectivity with Ultra Durable PCIe Armor reinforcement, complemented by a second PCIe x16 slot operating at x4 and one PCIe x1 slot.
Storage connectivity includes 2× M.2 slots for high-speed PCIe SSDs, with one of the M.2 connectors also supporting SATA SSDs. Six SATA 6 Gb/s connectors provide additional storage expansion with RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 support. The motherboard is Intel Optane Memory ready and also provides a dedicated M.2 Socket 1 connector for a compatible wireless module.
Network connectivity is handled by Intel Gigabit LAN, while the audio subsystem uses a Realtek ALC892 codec with up to 7.1-channel HD Audio. Rear connectivity includes USB-C 3.1 Gen 1, 3× USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A, 2× USB 2.0, HDMI, DisplayPort and DVI-D. Additional features include RGB Fusion 2.0, Smart Fan 5, FAN STOP and DualBIOS.
