GIGABYTE Z390 AORUS ULTRA is a premium ATX motherboard designed for demanding gamers and content creators. It supports 8th and 9th generation Intel® Core™ processors with the LGA 1151 socket and features a robust 12+1-phase power delivery with digital VRM and DrMOS for stable performance even when overclocking.
The motherboard supports up to 128 GB of DDR4 memory at frequencies up to 4400 MHz (OC) across four DIMM slots. Storage options include three M.2 slots (PCIe 3.0 x4 / SATA) with integrated heatsinks and six SATA III ports with RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 support. Graphics cards can be installed in three PCIe 3.0 x16 slots with support for NVIDIA SLI and AMD CrossFireX.
The rear panel includes an HDMI output, one USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-C port, three USB 3.1 Gen2 Type-A ports, two USB 3.1 Gen1 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, an RJ-45 LAN port, two SMA connectors for Wi-Fi antennas, an optical S/PDIF output and five audio jacks. Integrated wireless connectivity is provided by Intel® 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0. The audio system uses a Realtek ALC1220-VB codec with support for 7.1-channel HD audio and premium WIMA capacitors.
The motherboard also features RGB Fusion 2.0 RGB lighting with support for addressable LED strips, Smart Fan 5 with hybrid headers and temperature sensors, an integrated I/O shield, USB DAC-UP 2 with adjustable voltage and support for Intel® Optane™ Memory.
