The GIGABYTE AORUS Gen4 7300 SSD 2TB is a high-performance M.2 2280 NVMe SSD designed for gaming PCs, workstations and other systems requiring fast storage performance. The AG4732TB N version is supplied without a dedicated heat spreader and uses a PCI Express 4.0 x4 interface with the NVMe 1.4 protocol.
The drive combines an 8-channel Phison E18 controller with high-speed 3D TLC NAND Flash and a dedicated 2GB DDR4 DRAM cache. This configuration delivers sequential read speeds of up to 7300 MB/s and sequential write speeds of up to 6850 MB/s, significantly accelerating application loading, large-file workflows and data transfers.
3D TLC NAND provides a combination of high performance and long-term durability. The drive is rated for 1400 TBW with an MTBF of 1.6 million hours. Wear Leveling and Over-Provisioning technologies help manage NAND usage efficiently and maintain stable long-term operation.
The SSD supports TRIM and S.M.A.R.T. for performance management and drive health monitoring. AES-256 hardware encryption is also supported. Maximum power consumption is rated at 8.1 W during reads and 7.4 W during writes, while PS4/L1.2 low-power operation can reduce consumption to 3 mW.
The version without a dedicated heat spreader measures only 80 × 22 × 3.5 mm and uses a double-sided design. This allows the SSD to use an integrated M.2 heatsink on a compatible motherboard. The operating temperature range is 0 to 70 °C.
