Product detailed description
The ASUS ROG Kithara is a premium gaming headset developed in collaboration with HIFIMAN to bring audiophile-grade sound reproduction to gaming. Its large 100 mm planar magnetic drivers, specially tuned by ROG, deliver exceptional detail, minimal distortion and an ultra-wide frequency response from 8 Hz to 55 kHz. The open-back design creates a natural, spacious soundstage with clear separation between bass, midrange and treble frequencies, improving positional awareness in games while providing an immersive music listening experience.
The detachable full-band MEMS boom microphone offers a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz for clear and natural voice communication. Separate 3.5 mm connections for the microphone and headphones help minimize audio crosstalk. Versatile analog connectivity includes 3.5 mm and 6.3 mm single-ended connections alongside a balanced 4.4 mm option, enabling use with PCs, gaming consoles, digital-to-analog converters and headphone amplifiers. A USB-C adapter extends compatibility with supported devices.
The durable metal frame and adjustable padded headband provide stability and comfort during extended gaming and listening sessions. Circumaural earcups are designed for both wearing comfort and acoustic performance. Interchangeable velour and leatherette-with-mesh ear cushions allow users to customize the fit and sound characteristics. ROG Kithara is designed for listeners who value precise audio reproduction, high-quality voice communication and versatile wired connectivity.
