AQARA Hub M3 is an advanced central unit for the smart home that connects sensors, switches, controllers, lighting, thermostats, Matter-compatible devices, and other components into one stable system.

The hub supports the modern Matter standard, allowing selected devices to be integrated more easily into ecosystems such as Apple Home, Google Home, Amazon Alexa, or Samsung SmartThings depending on support from specific devices and apps.

Thanks to Thread support, AQARA Hub M3 also works as a Thread Border Router for compatible Matter over Thread devices. This helps improve the stability, responsiveness, and range of modern smart devices in the home.

For Aqara devices, the hub serves as a Zigbee controller and also as a Matter bridge, allowing compatible Aqara Zigbee devices to be made available in the Matter ecosystem.

Support for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Wi-Fi enables convenient wireless connection to the home network. Ethernet and PoE power can also be used for a more stable installation when suitable network infrastructure is available.

The integrated 360° infrared controller enables control of selected IR devices such as air conditioners, televisions, or other home electronics depending on compatibility and settings in the Aqara Home app.

Local automations help maintain fast response and higher reliability even when an internet connection is unavailable. The hub can therefore process selected scenes and automations directly within the home network.
