AMD Ryzen 5 7500: Zen 4 for AM5 with integrated graphics

The AMD Ryzen 5 7500 expands the more affordable end of the AM5 platform. This six-core Zen 4 processor adds one practical advantage over the familiar Ryzen 5 7500F: integrated Radeon graphics.

Cores / threads

6 / 12 with SMT

Clock speed

3.7 GHz to 5.0 GHz

Platform

AM5, DDR5 and PCIe 5.0

Zen 4 for affordable AM5 builds

The Ryzen 5 7500 has 6 cores and 12 threads. Its base frequency is 3.7 GHz, with boost up to 5.0 GHz, plus 6 MB of L2 cache and 32 MB of L3 cache. Like other Raphael processors, it uses socket AM5, a 5 nm TSMC compute die and a 6 nm I/O die. TDP remains 65 W.

Key specifications

  • AMD Zen 4 architecture
  • 6 cores / 12 threads
  • Boost up to 5.0 GHz
  • Integrated AMD Radeon graphics
  • DDR5 and PCI Express 5.0 support
  • 65 W TDP

Integrated graphics are the difference from the 7500F

AMD Radeon Graphics has 2 graphics cores running at up to 2,200 MHz. It is not designed for demanding gaming, but it lets a PC run without a separate graphics card — useful for diagnostics, a temporary build, or before installing a dedicated GPU.

Lowest price

Ryzen 5 7500F

A very similar CPU section but no integrated graphics. It makes sense when it costs considerably less and the build includes a dedicated GPU.

New

Ryzen 5 7500

6 cores, 12 threads and Radeon Graphics: a balanced AM5 option with a backup display output.

Slightly faster

Ryzen 5 7600

Its 3.8 GHz base and up to 5.1 GHz boost clock are only 100 MHz higher. The real price gap should decide.

DDR5, PCIe 5.0 and wide chipset support

The processor supports DDR5 memory and PCI Express 5.0. AMD lists 28 native PCIe lanes, with 24 usable, and compatibility with A620, B650, B650E, B840, B850, X670, X670E, X870 and X870E chipsets.

Compare the final price. If the difference between the 7500, 7500F and 7600 is small, integrated graphics can make the Ryzen 5 7500 the better pick.
